About

Success Leadership Center

Success & Leadership Center is a youth development, training, and family engagement center founded in 2018 to promote the social well-being of Somali American youth and their families. Our mission is to develop and enrich Somali American youth in Minnesota to become responsible adults and live successful lives through mentoring, leadership training, youth delinquency prevention programs, college preparedness programs, and family counseling.

What We Do

Education

We provide educational workshops, trainings, and informational sessions for youth, families, school and community centers.

Success Book Club

Success Book Club is a part of SLC programs to empower and develop youth leadership skills such us: reading, not taking and presentations skills.

Outreach & Engagment

We collaborate with schools, community centers and other youth organizations to create broader and inclusive support and services for youth.

Family Coaching & Counseling

We provide parenting classes for parent acculturation in dealing with their American-born children. We also provide family crisis prevention through marriage counseling.

Professional Development Counseling

We help young individuals identify strengths, set goals, and explore diverse career paths. Our programs build essential skills in communication, leadership, and technical areas, preparing youth for success. By connecting them with mentors and real-world experiences, we foster confident and capable young leaders.
